There are 42 so far that have spoken out.
To listen to them in English for example you have to turn on the Closed Caption. Then go into Settings and choose the language you want to in the subtitles. It is not a perfect translation, but you will get the majority of what they are saying. Their statements are read by by someone else, as they could face retribution etc. Even they fear speaking out, as with Doctors, Nurses, who have spoke out. They are demonized, by the media, by fellow doctors or nurses etc. I am sure there are are many other Police world wide who can identify with what these officers are saying and also feel the same way.
The Police are stressed, hate their jobs, think what they are asked to do is wrong, see innocent people being injured and the list goes on. Many want to quite.

Purpose of extra-parliamentary research
BPOC 2020 is a commission set up by citizens and is completely separate from government, business and politics.
The committee was set up by Drs. Pieter Kuit and his daughter Jade Kuit.
The committee examines the proportionality of the policy and measures related to COVID-19 and also investigates whether the government complies with the law.
To this end, the Committee is investigating these measures taken by the government in the context of Covid-19 by hearing witnesses.
The committee hears experts such as doctors, scientists, lawyers and professors with the following question at the heart of this:
“Why have restrictive measures been imposed in our country since 15 March 2020 due to Covid19, are these measures effective and are the measures imposed proportionate to the disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus?”

The Committee concludes the following:
Since 15 March 2020, many measures have been taken by the government. To this day, these measures have had and have a major impact on people and society.
The government based the measures on the advice of the Outbreak Management Team (OMT), without listening to the increasingly loud advice from other experts such as doctors and economists, and to the distress cries that are increasingly evident from society.
In the meantime, we are a year on, and awaiting a so-called third wave.
The consequences of the policy
The consequences: Social cohesion
The closure of schools, the hospitality and events sector, shops, gyms, associations, museums and the entire cultural sector has removed social cohesion from society, with disastrous consequences for the (mental) health of people from all age groups, including children and young people.
The consequences: Economy
The economic damage is not (yet) foreseeable, but will be significant. Because the resilience is out of the economy, it will recover only very slowly. If the measures are continued, economic recovery will become increasingly difficult, with all the consequences for society as a result.
The consequences: Decision-making, democracy and the rule of law
As of 15 March 2020, the government has taken decisions in violation of the Constitution, on the basis of emergency regulations that are not intended for this purpose, in principle without involving parliament as a controlling power. On 1 December, the so-called Corona Act came into force. Without significant resistance from parliament, freedoms have been restricted and constitutions have been deactivated, for a virus similar in terms of complaints and lethality to a severe flu. For more than 98% of the population, corona is harmless.
In 11 months, the Netherlands has changed from an open and democratic rule of law to an unfree, three-minister-led, closed and undemocratic state. These ministers take decisions by.m means of ministerial regulations that even trigger court rulings. All this without having to answer to parliament.
Moreover, the government does not support the measures in any way. The people must follow the measures and, as Prime Minister Rutte said, ‘shut up’.
A baffling statement from a head of government who seems to have completely lost his way.
The fact that the government has refused the committee’s invitation to come and declare is telling. Apparently, the government sees no reason to be properly accountable to the Dutch people.
The committee suspects the government is getting rid of tough questions. In this context, the government has nothing to fear from the news media, which repeats the government’s measures as a mantra on a daily basis and stimulates fear among the population.
The opposition has also refused to testify before the committee. Accountability to and listening to the population is apparently no longer an assignment for the House of Representatives.
The committee is extremely concerned about the direction in which democracy in the Netherlands is moving.
The Justice
It has proved pointless for the citizen to complain about the measures through the courts. Due to the interweaving of the judiciary, public prosecutor’s office and government, there is hardly any independent justice anymore (see in this regard the statements of Jeroen Pols, lawyer, and Michael Verstraete, lawyer).
International codes and treaties
The Dutch government no longer adheres to international codes and treaties when they hinder the government’s policy. Nor does she ablate with her own laws. Think of:
- Nuremberg Code
- the International Convention on the Rights of the Child
- the Convention on Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms
- GDPR privacy legislation
- Several constitutions, including religious freedom (Article 6) and freedom to association (Article 15), inviolability of the body (Article 11), freedom to assembly and demonstration (Article 9)
The freedom to protest (demonstration) is systematically restricted. Demonstrations are regularly banned and broken up by the police with the use of disproportionate force. Mayor Halsema distinguishes between the subject of the demonstration: A Black Lives Matter demonstration on 1 June in Amsterdam was allowed to take place, while ‘corona demonstrations’ are systematically banned, restricted and broken up by Halsema.
In the rest of the Netherlands, too, the committee sees disproportionate police violence against protesters.
Proportionality and subsidiarity of measures
The Committee concludes that the measures are highly disproportionate, and therefore cause great often irreparable harm to people and society.
It does not look at whether lighter measures can achieve the same goal.
Moreover, the measures that have been disproportionate and very harmful to this day do not achieve the intended objective of curbing the virus.
The measures have proved ineffective. The collateral damage is great: people with other conditions die unnecessarily as a result of very limited access to health care, a health care that has been dismantled by this same government for years.
The government argues that the reason for the measures is to prevent care from being overburdened. The impression is constantly being created that nursing wards and ICU departments are full of corona patients, while everyone can see on the website of stichting Nice that the opposite is true.
Baffling is the fact that the government refuses to accept an offered luxury hospital ship including authorised staff from entrepreneur Mr. Brautigam, on the grounds that ‘it is not foreseen that the pressure on care will increase so much now and in the near future that one needs the hospital ship. The email correspondence between Mr. Trump and Mr. Trump. Brautigam and the government can be found in this report.
Even more astonishing is that the current measures are being maintained because a so-called third wave of the ‘British variant’ of the virus is expected, which according to the government’s unproven claim is much more contagious. In order to avoid excessive pressure on care (!) the current measures, including the curfew, must be maintained.
Criminality
The government has a swaying and ineffective policy. The policy is legally dubious, but probably even punishable in many areas, given the many lost years of life that this policy has resulted in and continues to have. In this context, the Committee also refers to the availability and high effectiveness of the prophylactic agents HCQ and Ivermectin, which could have preserved the lives of vulnerable patients. Withholding these drugs from patients is not just negligent, but a deliberately damaging decision by the government.
Moreover, the policy, which in turn facilitates and then increases measures without offering any prospect and perspective, is a form of mental abuse of the population. This in itself constitutes criminality.

In summary, the Committee concludes:
The government’s policies are ineffective, and lead to demonstrable collateral damage to people and the economy.
The government relies on the advice of the OMT only, and adopts the opinions almost unchanged. The fact that no economists, psychiatrists/psychologists, policy experts and other specialisms are represented within the OMT leads to a unilateral policy aimed at combating the virus, without taking into account to any extent the serious collateral damage caused to people and society by this policy.
Policy-making is undemocratic, has authoritarian traits and is completely isolated from sounds from society that criticise or adapt policy.
Citizens have no way of making their voices heard: justice no longer functions independently.
The policy polarizes society, and even within families and friendships leads to fractures.
Divide and rule seems to be part of this policy.
Under other circumstances, a policy with these very damaging consequences, a policy which is also demonstrably criminal and ineffective, would have led to the resignation of the entire government followed by a parliamentary inquiry and criminal proceedings of the responsible administrators.
The fact that this has not happened so far shows the complete dysfunction and bankruptcy of democracy and the rule of law in the Netherlands.
